Riding the great beyond - Soft Cover

Bob Stanley escapes the office in July 2011 to bicycle out of Deadhorse in far northern Alaska in order to travel southwards as far and the road will go.

This ride will eventually cover two continents ending in Tierra Del Fuego in Argentina.

This story of the eighteen-month 28,000 kilometre bicycle journey covers every latitude from the top to the bottom of the magnificent Americas and describes all of the joys, pains and challenges of the road, and the penning of a few highly questionable songs along the way. It is a celebration of freedom and of the pure joy of engaging with the world from the privileged vantage point of the bicycle.
